About Us

Animal Naturopathy Blog is the blog for the American Council of Animal Naturopathy.

The American Council of Animal Naturopathy (ACAN) was founded on May 5, 2010 as a non-profit. Its purpose is to provide examinations and continuing education that reflect and uphold the highest professional standards of practice for animal naturopaths. To that end, the examinations are available to natural animal health consultants and practitioners. Upon successful completion of the examination the consultant or practitioner will be deemed certified, knowledgeable and professional in animal naturopathy and will be recognized as such by noted professionals practicing in that particular field.

ACAN also offers certificate coursework to those desiring to understand and implement a more natural lifestyle for their animals.

Members of our newsletter and blog team include:
ACAN Founders Dr. Kim Bloomer & Dr. Jeannie Thomason
ACAN members and Animal Naturopathic Students, Ellen Welk and Angela Rector and ACAN Member Krystal Beers.

Our goal is to provide you all the upcoming events, news, webinars, classes, and more on Animal Naturopathy Blog so you can stay informed about what is going on in the world of natural animal care.
